Privacy Policy

This policy explains how the Lumerit Instagram Direct assistant (the "Assistant") handles your data. The Assistant is an automated chat that answers questions about Lumerit, a coffee & bar and hookah lounge at 19 Pirosmani str., Batumi, Georgia, on the Instagram account @lumerit_cafe__lounge. It replies to messages about the cafe (menu, prices, hours, location, features) and does nothing else.

What we process

• Your messages. The text you send to the Assistant in Instagram Direct.
• Your Instagram-scoped user ID (IGSID) and message identifiers, used to keep the conversation in order and to avoid processing the same message twice.
• Timestamps of the messages.

We do not collect your name, email, phone number, location, payment details, or your Instagram password. We do not track you across other sites or apps.

Why we process it

Solely to read your question and send a relevant reply about the cafe, and to remember the recent context of your conversation so follow-up questions make sense.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We share the minimum needed with two processors:

• Meta Platforms delivers and sends the messages through the Instagram Messaging API, under Instagram's Privacy Policy.
• Anthropic processes the message text to generate the reply (the Claude model). See Anthropic's Privacy Policy. Message text is sent for the purpose of producing a reply and is not used by us for advertising.

Where we store it and for how long

Conversations are stored in a private database on our own server, used only to run the Assistant. We keep them to maintain conversation context and retain them for up to 12 months of inactivity, after which they may be deleted. You can request deletion at any time (see below).

Your rights

You can request access to, or deletion of, the messages we hold for your account. To delete your data, follow the instructions at /data-deletion. We action deletion requests within 30 days.

Security

Messages travel over encrypted (HTTPS) connections and are stored on an access-controlled server. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.

Children

The Assistant is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly process their data.

Changes

We may update this policy. The "last updated" date above reflects the latest version, published at this URL.
